How to score the most points during the FIFA World Cup 2026
The game runs in two phases: pre-tournament predictions (groups, winner, finalists, top scorer) and one prediction per match during the tournament. The deeper the round, the more your points are multiplied.

🏆 Leagues
Any player can create a league: they become its Leader, choose the optional rules, tune the scale, and invite via link. The Leader can: enable or disable optional rules before each phase starts, edit the default scale, exclude a player, transfer the role, or leave the league (the role then auto-transfers to the longest-standing member). Once a phase starts (groups, R16, etc.) its rules are frozen until the phase ends. You can join as many leagues as you want — predictions are independent per league. A "Copy to my other leagues" button is available to save time. The Super League: official community-wide league with fixed rules, identical for everyone — perfect to compare yourself against every player.
🏟️ Pre-tournament predictions
Before kickoff: rank the 4 teams in each group, pick the tournament winner, the finalists and the top scorer. These lock at the first match.
⚽ Match predictions
For each match: predict the score. Scoring is pyramidal — the 1X2 outcome is the foundation, the score bonuses sit on top: • Correct outcome (1X2): 4 pts — applies to every match. • Correct goal difference: 4 pts — only counts if the outcome was right. • Correct score per team: 2 pts per team (both can stack) — only counts if the outcome was right. • Knockout qualifier bonus: 5 pts — independent of the outcome, knockout phase only, when the team you picked to advance does (after extra time / shootout). If you get the outcome wrong, only the knockout qualifier bonus can credit. Goal-diff and per-team rewards reset to 0. Examples: • Perfect 2-1 vs 2-1 → 4 + 4 + 2 + 2 = 12 pts. • Right winner, wrong score 2-0 vs 3-1 → 4 + 4 = 8 pts. • Right draw, right diff 1-1 vs 2-2 → 4 + 4 = 8 pts. • Wrong winner 2-1 vs 1-2 → 0 pts (group) or +5 KO qualifier bonus if applicable. Predictions close at each match's kickoff. The leader can edit every value under Settings → Scoring scale.
🎯 Odds mode
Alternative mode (set by the Leader at league creation): the Classique scale is multiplied by the 1X2 odds of the actual outcome. The more improbable the result per the bookmaker, the more your points are multiplied. Same pyramidal scale as Classique — the only difference is the odds multiplier: • Correct winner: 4 × odds — credits on every match. • Correct spread: 4 × odds — only if the correct winner was found. • Correct team score: 2 × odds per team (stackable) — only if the correct winner was found. • Correct qualifier bonus: 5 × odds — knockout only, independent of the 1/N/2. Optional bonuses (first scorer 5 pts, first assister 3 pts, first goal quarter 3 pts) stay flat — no multiplication. Group example: Mexico beats South Africa 1-0, home_win odds = 1.85. Perfect 1-0 prediction → Correct winner 4 × 1.85 = 7 pts, Correct Mexico score 2 × 1.85 = 4 pts, Correct South Africa score 2 × 1.85 = 4 pts, Correct spread 4 × 1.85 = 7 pts. Total: 22 pts (no optional bonuses). KO example: France-Morocco 1-1 (France wins on pens), draw odds = 3.50. Prediction 1-1 + France qualifies → Correct winner 4 × 3.50 = 14 pts, Correct team scores (×2) 2 × 3.50 × 2 = 14 pts, Correct spread 4 × 3.50 = 14 pts, Correct qualifier 5 × 3.50 = 18 pts. Subtotal: 60 pts. Odds are frozen 24h before each match: you see an estimated cote before, the official one after. The ×2 Boost is still usable as in Classique. Per-mechanic cap: 100 pts (safety net against extreme odds).
🔥 Per-round multipliers
A match's points are multiplied by the round: ×2 round of 32, ×4 round of 16, ×6 quarter, ×8 semi, ×10 final. Each multiplier freezes at the start of its round.
⚡ Boost ×2
Each player has a quota of ×2 boosts to spend on the predictions they're most confident about. A boosted prediction doubles every point it scored — so a 12-pt classique pick becomes 24 pts, a 50-pt cotes pick becomes 100 pts, etc. The quota is per matchday, not per phase. Group-stage matchdays each have their own budget that resets when the previous matchday ends, so a quiet J1 doesn't carry boosts into J2. • Group J1: 2 boosts • Group J2: 2 boosts (resets after J1) • Group J3: 2 boosts (resets after J2) • Round of 32: 2 boosts • Round of 16: 1 boost • Quarter-finals: 1 boost • Semi-finals, third place, final: 0 boosts Total: 10 boosts across the tournament. The leader can switch the boost off in Settings if they want a stricter format. In Odds mode the boost ×2 stacks on top of the multiplied cote — same mechanic.
🏅 Bonus team & top scorer
Every player gets one bonus team per league. In Random mode it's drawn (up to 2 rerolls); in Free mode you pick it yourself. In both modes the points scale with the team's final-winner odds, frozen before kickoff. If your bonus team is eliminated, its bonus stops.
📊 Standings & tie-break
The standings update in real time during matches, visible at any time in every league: total points and delta since the last match. Per-prediction breakdown is available from your profile. On a tie at the end of the tournament, tie-breakers apply in this order: (1) number of exact scores hit across the tournament, (2) average points per match played, (3) accuracy on the "Tournament winner" pick, (4) random draw.
🎯 In Odds mode, each line above is multiplied by the 1X2 odds of the actual result. Classique = flat values.
4+ goals: a prediction of 4 or more goals counts the same. A "4+" pick is exact if that team scores 4, 5, 6 or more.
Third-place playoff: ×6 multiplier by default (leader-editable). The leader can disable the third-place prediction in Settings; its multiplier is then ignored. It is scored with the same three mechanics as any other match.
The Leader can enable these extra per-match bonuses: • First scorer — 2 pts default • First assister — 1 pt default • First-goal 15-min window — 1 pt default • Per-player bonus team — coefficient tied to the winner odds (random or free pick, configurable per league)
Each league's leader can customize these values in the settings.
FAQCan I edit my predictions after I save them?
Yes, up to 5 minutes before the match's kickoff.
What happens if I join a league after the tournament starts?
You can predict the upcoming matches, but you don't get the points of the matches already played. Pre-tournament predictions are no longer accessible once the tournament has started.
My bonus team was eliminated, can I change it?
No. An eliminated team means the bonus points stop until the end of the tournament.
Odds can move heavily before a match. What about after the T-24h freeze?
Once frozen at T-24h, the odds don't move. Any fluctuation after the freeze has zero impact on your score. Before T-24h, you see an estimated cote that may still move.
What if I predict after T-24h?
You predict with the already-frozen official odds. Same for everyone, no surprises.
Does an own goal count for the "first scorer" bet?
Never. Only a player's voluntary goal counts.
Can the Leader edit the rules mid-tournament?
Only for phases that haven't started yet. The rules of a phase already in progress are frozen until the phase ends.
Can the Leader exclude me?
Yes. Typically used for inactive accounts or problematic behaviour.
